Kim Scardina Founder/CEO Of Triple C

Triple C's Founder: Kimberly Scardina AA., BA., MPA., COS., ABA Paralegal

Kim is a seasoned community activist and advocate for justice, deeply rooted in the housing-challenged and economically underserved neighborhoods of Cook and Lake County, Illinois. With a mission to uplift and empower, Kim brings decades of frontline experience addressing poverty, violence, and systemic inequities.

Academically accomplished, Kim holds an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal and Legal Studies (AA), is a certified Illinois Bar Association Paralegal, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice (BA) and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA). She combines this strong legal foundation with grassroots organizing and a personal commitment to service.

Kim’s advocacy work spans involvement with The Anti-Eviction Campaign, Families Against the Wrongfully Convicted, and the movement to Abolish the Illinois Death Penalty. Her legal support includes assistance with tax matters, bankruptcy, divorce, expungement, real estate transactions, LLC formations, and pro se legal filings. Beyond the legal field, she provides community training in resume writing, skill development, job searching, and interview preparation.

A true entrepreneur at heart, Kim is also the owner of a catering business and a natural skincare product line—both of which support her broader mission by creating jobs and bringing people together.

Her work in violence prevention and reentry programming, especially for the formerly incarcerated, includes expertise in filing meritorious and good time credit applications and addressing grievances.

Through Triple C, Kim continues to build a model of sustainable community change—where compassion leads and action follows.

Triple C's Co-Founder: Bryant Martin

A dedicated real estate investor, small business owner, and life skills instructor, Bryant brings lived experience and real-world knowledge to the front lines of community empowerment. With deep roots in Chicago’s South Side and Waukegan, IL, he has spent years creating pathways to stability through job training, job placement, and youth mentorship.

An associate degree holder and a seasoned professional in property management and maintenance, Bryant uses these skills not just to build properties, but to rebuild lives. By offering hands-on training in trades and home maintenance, he empowers individuals—especially young people—to find purpose, develop discipline, and move away from cycles of violence.

A boots-on-the-ground presence in anti-violence efforts, Bryant has played a vital role in rallies, street outreach, and community-based interventions across the city and northern suburbs. As a violence interrupter and trusted mentor, his voice resonates deeply with youth facing the same crossroads he once stood at.

Driven by a belief that every life has potential, Bryant uses past life experiences to connect, guide, and inspire. Through Triple C, he is leading by example—proving that change isn’t just possible, it’s powerful.
